From the Bert Sugar collection comes this unique piece of baseball memorabilia. Signed by two baseball Hall of Famers, this document of the Commonwealth of Kentucky signifies the conferral of the honorific "Colonel Aide de Camp" upon Edward Barrow, president of the New York Yankees, by then Kentucky-governor and future Commissioner of Baseball, Albert "Happy" Chandler. Framed and matted without glass, this piece most likely hung in Barrow's office at Yankee Stadium. Chandler's ink signature grades 8/10. Some soiling is present, but overall VG condition. Measures 15" x 20.25".
