Generally regarded as the greatest German footballer of all time, Franz Beckenbauer closed out his remarkable playing career in 1983 with the New York Cosmos of the NASL (his fifth with the club). This jersey was personally gifted by Beckenbauer to reporter Ike Kuhn. The Cosmos logo and yellow stitched #6 distinguish the front, while "BECKENBAUER 6" comprises the back, also stitched.
