On October 28, 1967 at the Olympic Auditorium in Los Angeles, heavyweights Jerry Quarry and Floyd Patterson met as part of the WBA Heavyweight Elimination Tournament, created when champion Muhammad Ali was stripped of his titles for refusal to accept military induction. Quarry prevailed, winning a 12-round majority decision. Offered here is a scarce, original, on-site poster to the event. This paper poster has bold color and sharp fighter images. Not creased. Small clip at lower left corner. 14" x 22".
