The 1926 Yankees lost a tough World Series to the St. Louis Cardinals in seven games, but 91 wins and another American League pennant were nothing to sneeze at. This photo of the Bronx Bombers appeared in Baseball Magazine and features 30 Signatures from the AL champs, including a couple who were with the team after 1926, such as Bill Dickey. Key autographs include Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Herb Pennock, Leo Durocher and Waite Hoyt. Signatures average 6 in strength with some better and some worse. There are old marks and staining evident on the photo, which still rates VG. The photo measures 11" x 9" while with the frame, it's 16" x 14." Much like this year's Yankees team, The 1926 Yanks were playing their fourth season in a new stadium - the original House That Ruth Built. Miller Huggins was the manager.
