The 1972 Olympics will always be somewhat tarnished due to the Munich massacre that saw 11 Israeli athletes and coaches, a West German police officer and five terrorists killed. As far as the competition went, the Soviet Union amassed 99 medals, five more than the United States, with East Germany coming in a distant third with 66. Both of these Nieman prints are signed and numbered by the artist in 9/10 pencil. The Olympic Village print is number 143 of 250 and the Boxing print is number 147 of 250. Both are in vintage frames, measure 18.5" x 14" and are in EX-MT condition.
