An integral part of the "Amazin' Mets" improbable Word Series run in '69 Ron Swoboda is best known for his spectacular catch of a Brooks Robinson drive in the ninth inning of Game 4. This is a game-used 35 oz, 34.5" Hillerich & Bradsby model G69L bat. This bat shows nice use with slight grain separation on the back of the barrel. Also, some loss of finish on the barrel. Uncracked. Appears to have had a "4" on the knob that was changed to a "14" indicating that someone other than Swoboda may have also used the bat.
