Harry Houdini signed this copy of his book "The Unmasking of Robert-Houdin," inscribed to P. Pesky: "With compliments of the author Harry Houdini June 7-1916 399 E. 21st st. Brooklyn, NY." The master escape artist's book is an attempt to expose his once mentor and namesake, Jean Eugene Robert-Houdin, as a fraud. The 333-page tome features illustrations on nearly every page.Measures 5.5'' x 8," There is some minor darkened spots on the font cover but the book is in overall EX condition. Along with his clear talent as a magician and escape artist, Houdini was also an accomplished author, actor and aviator.
