Don Hoak bats are pretty hard to come by, and it's even rougher to find one signed. In fact, this is the first game-used and signed examples that we have handled. The Hillerich and Bradsby model U1 shows use and is uncracked. It is 34" long, weighs 32 oz and is signed on the barrel in 7/10 blue ink: "To Paul, Best Wishes, Don Hoak". Originated from the Paul Hill collection. Hoak was a journeyman third baseman who broke in with the 1954 Brooklyn Dodgers and played the majority of his 10-year career with the Pittsburgh Pirates.
