Casey Stengel described longtime major leaguer Moe Berg as "the strangest man ever to play baseball." Though not known as a thinking man's player, Berg was very intelligent, having graduated Princeton and Columbia Law School, and was known to regularly read 10 daily newspapers and speak several languages. This is his diploma from Barringer High School in New Jersey on parchment paper. Measuring roughly 10x14", the paper is yellowed and stained on the left side and near the top but overall in good condition.
