On September 7, 1960 at Sick's Stadium in Seattle, Washington, heavyweight contenders Eddie Machen and Charles "Sonny" Liston battled to position themselves for a shot at the heavyweight title. Liston, despite being penalized three times for low blows, prevailed, winning a unanimous 12-round decision. Offered here is a very rare on-site poster for the event.
