This authentic Chief Mechanic Ring from the 1989 Indycar Racing Team is a Jostens 10-karat solid gold model featuring an oval red color stone. It was presented to Danny Sullivan's top mechanic Timothy Bumps and is sized 10 3/4. Across the top edge of the ring reads CHIEF, while MECHANIC is on the bottom, and the year 1989 split in half on either side. The left shank bears the engraving BUMPS, a sponsor logo and Sullivan's lap time of 216.0. The opposite side reads INDIANAPOLIS 500 and bears Sullivan's car and number "1." T. BUMPS and JOSTENS 10K are engraved on the inside.
