During his 19-year pro career, Nellie Fox cemented his reputation as perhaps the best second baseman of the era, winning three Gold Gloves and being named an All-Star an amazing 15 times. This item, obtained directly from Fox's family, is a black and white 8x10" glossy photograph of Fox in a Washington Senators uniform, which places it during his tenure as a coach with the organization from 1968 through their final season in DC in 1971. It is signed, "Best Wishes, Nelson Fox" in blue ink 7/10. There is some creasing but no stains or tears on the photograph and it rates in VG-EX condition. JSA LOA
