Here's an extremely rare signed baseball from the 1916 National League Champions who went on to lose the World Series to Babe Ruth's Boston Red Sox. The official National League baseball has toned to a light brown color and the signatures were enhanced (traced) a long time ago in black fountain ink. Overall, they rate 7/10. The thirty signatures include the keys: Wilbert Robinson, Rube Marquard, Nap Rucker, Hack Miller, Leon Cadore, Jake Daubert, Chief Meyers, Casey Stengel, Zack Wheat, Fred Merkle and more. This was the first time a Brooklyn baseball team had ever reached the postseason, adding to its high value.
