This cardboard advertising display from 1972 features Babe Ruth and has all 15 cards in the set affixed to it. The lot is in Ex condition, considering a crease at the Babe's finger and some minor cracking on a few of the cards. The piece measures 25" x 37" and includes hologram-styled cards at the base featuring these other Hall of Famers: Walter Johnson, Rogers Hornsby, John McGraw, Mickey Cochrane, George Sisler, Lefty Grove, Pie Traynor, Honus Wagner, Eddie Collins, Tris Speaker, Cy Young, Lou Gehrig and Ty Cobb. Ruth has two cards; one for "Greatest Right Fielder" and another for "Greatest Ever." And who can argue with that?
