John Wooden's UCLA Bruins dynasty was in full swing when this ticket stub was used at the 1968 NCAA basketball championship at the L.A. Sports Arena. The hometown Bruins - led by the dominant Lew Alcindor (before he changed his name to Kareem Abdul-Jabbar) - avenged their only loss of the season by pounding the Houston Cougars in the national semifinals, then cruised past North Carolina to become the first team to win consecutive college hoops titles twice, having turned the trick earlier in the decade (1964-65). And this was just the beginning for UCLA, which would go on to win the national title an unprecedented seven consecutive seasons. This ticket is in EX condition and has "ROW -1 SEAT - 2" written in the center in black marker.
