Harry Vardon was a six-time Open Champion and also won the US Open in 1900, when he became golf's first international celebrity. He played in more than 80 U.S. matches that year, when this card was issued, reading
in vintage ink: "Breaks record for 18 holes by four strokes." Vardon is identified as "Champion Of The World" on the card, which features a punch hole but is otherwise in NRMT condition.
