This is an original protective cup used by Muhammad Ali in the mid-to-late 1970s. This cup was part of the original Drew "Bundini" Brown collection. Brown was well known as the assistant trainer and cornerman of the heavyweight champ for nearly all of his professional career. The item is black leather with gold Everlast label. Letter "M" is written on top of label and on the inside is written "ALI'S" and the name Muhammad Ali is written inside the waist. It is soiled and shows heavy use.
