Nearly every card produced by Bowman to represent the Brooklyn Dodgers is included in this lot. In most cases if there is a variety of a card only one is included. The year-by-year breakdown is as follows: 1948 - three different, 1949 - 14 different (plus #179 Casey), 1950 - 16 different, 1951 - 20 different, 1952 - 16 different, 1953 B & W - 1 card, 1953 color - 9 different, 1954 - 14 different, and 1955 - 20 different. The most notable absences are 1950 Hodges, 1953 Reese, and 1953 Snider. These cards were assembled with a stronger focus on completion rather than condition; overall the cards are VG with the noteworthy exceptions being 1949 #50 Robinson (Poor), 1949 #226 Snider (EX), 1950 #58 Furillo and #167 Roe (both Poor with back damage), 1952 #8 Reese and #80 Hodges (EX), 1954 #58 Reese (EX-MT), 1954 #170 Snider (EX), 1955 #37 Reese & #158 Hodges (EX). As would be expected, the cards included do get a bit nicer in the more recent years.
