This turnstile from Shibe Park is truly a piece of Philadelphia sports history! Home to the A's and Phillies (baseball) and Eagles (football), Shibe Park was the site of some of the most legendary moments in the storied history of Philly sports. Not the least of these moments was the park's demise, which famously descended into an amateur demolition while the Phillies beat the Expos, 2-1, on October 1, 1970. Though this turnstile has received several coats of paint through the decades, its final one - a shiny black layer - is still fully intact. In complete working order, the counter is missing from the top of the unit, though it is in generally excellent condition. Typical stadium wear is still evident on this one-of-a-kind item.
