The longest-serving captain of any North American sports team in history, Steve Yzerman earned the distinction as a 21-year-old and wound up playing all 23 of his NHL seasons with the Detroit Red Wings. This very nice stick shows lots of use and features original tape on the butt end and blade. The Louisville TPS has "YZERMAN" stamped on the shaft and comes with a photo of him using a similar stick. Since his retirement in 2006, Yzerman has been elected to the Hall of Fame and currently serves as general manager of the Tampa Bay Lightning.
