This is an original, on site poster for the June 23, 1969 heavyweight championship fight between Joe Frazier and Jerry Quarry at Madison Square Garden in New York. The fight was declared "Fight of the Year" by Ring Magazine with Frazier stopping Quarry in the 7th round. Cardboard poster mounted on heavy board, some fading to color and lettering as well as edge and corner wear. Some staining and evidence of creasing before mounting. Rare. 22" x 28."
