This lot is a must-see for any Royals collector! Included in this auction is a 1970 grey flannel jersey, most likely worn in spring training that year, with #5 sewn onto the back. Additionally, a 1989 Frank White button-up white home jersey, size 44, is included, as well as a 1991 powder blue button-up road jersey, size 44, worn by Jeff Montgomery. But that's not all! A 1984 blue Royals cap worn by Willie Wilson, a circa-1985 Royals team signed ball, and a "1985 American League Champions" banner from the club's stadium are also included. The baseball is signed entirely in blue ballpoint pen, and the autographs have been well preserved. Kansas City went on to stun cross-state rival St. Louis in the 1985 World Series.
