This late-1930s game-used Louisville Slugger baseball bat belonged to Hall of Famer Charlie Gehringer. Measuring 34.5 inches and weighing 36.8 ounces, this bat has had a large crack long-ago repaired using a number of nails and staples. The crack is located on the same side of the bat as at the Louisville Slugger insignia, though it does not affect the logo itself. Located approximately ten inches from the knob, the crack is partially obstructed by black grip tape, which was added after the crack was suffered and repaired. "Chas Gehringer" is engraved in cursive on the barrel, approximately six inches from the end. This is a must-have for any fan of the late-1930s Detroit Tigers!
