This fantastic 1914 panoramic photograph features the all-time great, Ty Cobb, not once, but twice! In the old days when this photo was taken, it was necessary for the players to stand still for several seconds. This allowed for some tomfoolery. In this case, Cobb was at one end of the picture when the photo was snapped and sprinted to the other end before the exposure was completed. Thus, he is in the photo twice. Players names are penned below their images and also include greats such as Heilman, Bush, Vitt, Gibson, Burns, Coveleski, Veach, Crawford and Jennings. The contrast and clarity of the photo is near perfect. It is in its original frame and appears EX with some mild toning and soiling at spots. The photo measures 36 inches across and eight inches high, the frame is worn from age and has holes at either end for hanging, but is in overall very good condition. A classic keepsake from nearly a century ago.
