Written entirely in French, this letter, dated December 9, 1970 and in the hand of NHL Hall-of-Famer Jacques Plante, is written to Marcel Roy, who was a representative with Molson's Brewery at the time. It begins "Dear Marcel and Frank," letting them know he received their telegram and thanking them sincerely for what they said. While no one here speaks French well enough to know the rest of letter's content, Roy - who authenticates the letter - includes a note of his own with reminisces of the player, information on their relationship, and other little known facts. The letter has mailing folds and all writing, including signature, is in 6/10 blue ink.
