All six of these Senators caps are game model caps, but by far the best of the lot is a 1938 Spalding hat with "7 1/8 R. Monteagudo" chain stitched in the leather band. "WEST" is also written under the name, indicating that it was also used by Sam West. Also included in this collection is an early 1950s McAuliffe with a black leather band - this hat came from the collection of Clark Griffith. An early 1960s McAuliffe (with a repalced headband) has a number 2 written under the brim. An early 1960s Wilson cap has number 37 written under the brim and was likely worn by Jimmy Piersall. Last, we have a late 1960s Wilson cap with no number and a 1970s reunion cap by New Era with no use.
