Long before Baby Ruth jackets were spotted along the tracks of NASCAR, the Curtiss candy company issued these jackets to promote their popular candy bar, presumably to concessionaires or ushers. The white linen jacket features red stitching, including the name "BABY RUTH" on both upper arms and "BABY RUTH CANDY" on the back. There are three black lapel buttons and three pockets on the front, perhaps once stuffed with candy. The jacket shows water damage, and there are rips in the pockets, but this is a pretty rare piece of Americana that would make a cool conversation piece.
