Back in the 20s, when the team was known as the New York Baseball Giants, season passes weren't just tickets, but rather intricately designed charms meant to be worn to games. This is one of the season passes issued by the New York Giants baseball team in 1921. It entitled the bearer - in this case Chas. H. McDonald and guest, as etched on the back - to enter the Polo Grounds during the season. Each pass was produced by Lambert Brothers and is in sterling silver. The front of the "key" reads "The Giants Bid You Welcome to the Polo Grounds/1921/Chas A Stoneham/Pres. In addition to the name of the pass' owner, the reverse is engraved in with #284. Except for being tarnished, the piece is in excellent condition.
