Buttons were very popular in the 1950s, from the political realm ("I Like Ike") to the sporting world. Case in point: these two attractive Boston Celtics fan pins for Hall of Fame point guard Bob Cousy and Hall of Fame big man "Easy Ed" Macauley, both of whom turned 83 years old this year. Both buttons buttons read: "I AM A JUNIOR CELTICS ROOTER" with the images of the two players and their names in the center, and both have slight foxing around the edges. Cousy and Macauley combined for 20 All-Star appearances and seven NBA titles (six for Cousy).
