This bronze statue of Larry Bird stands 23" tall (including marble base) and shows the Celtic legend during his collegiate days playing for Indiana State. Bird is depicted leaping upwards while attempting a difficult one-handed shot. He wears his Indiana State jersey with the number "33". Bird led Indiana State to not only its first NCAA Tournament bid, but also the National Championship game, which it lost to the Michigan State University Spartans who were led by Earvin "Magic" Johnson. Bird would go on to have a long and storied career with the Boston Celtics, where the rivalry between Bird's Boston team and Johnson's Lakers would burn intensely for over a decade. EX-MT.
