NOTE*
This lot comes with a letter of origin and authenticity from Beatles autograph expert Frank Ciazzo.
Another one of those very special documents, from a very endearing artist. John Lennon, in his own hand, personally listed his wardrobe at his Dakota residence in New York City. What appears to be apartment #71 (at 72nd street) was across the hall from the Lennon's residence and used for storage -- all 3000 square feet. He inventoried cupboards one and two on this list. He made note of items that were stolen, such as a Kashmir fur and a raincoat. Note that five of the seven listings are his important Beatles garments, including Sgt. Pepper's jacket; wedding jacket; Magical Mystery Tour white tailcoat; black and maroon round neck, velvet collar Beatles suits; his priest robe; and various awards and instruments. This important piece is a very unusual document. Invest and enjoy.
