This is a ball taken from the July 14th, 1948 game where Pat Seerey launched four homeruns. Seerey has signed the ball in 7/10 blue ballpoint, and incorrectly refers to the ball's owner as a "good Dago". The owner has written on the ball in thick black pen, "Pat Seerey Chicago White Sox July 18, 1948 hit 4 home runs in one game / GAME BALL". The owner has also written "4 Homers - One Game" which is split by an arrow, pointing to a piece of paper cut from a book and pasted to the ball detailing Seerey's accomplishment. This is an EX single-signed trophy ball with plenty of fun and unique characteristics detailing an epic day in baseball history. We do not know if this was a home run ball, but the possibility exists that it is.
