This road jersey is a real beauty. The nickname "Phillies" adorns the front and original "38" highlights the back. "Wise" is sewn on a swatch in the collar and Wilson size 42 with "Set 1" and "66" (year) tagging is on the front tail. There's some very nice use here, and the pitcher signed his name in 7/10 blue Sharpie on the front: "Rick Wise, No No 2 HR's vs. Cin 6-23-71". All original but for the Phillies on the front which has been professionally restored. Wise was an 18-year major league veteran and two-time All-Star whose no-hitter in Cincinnati on June 23, 1971 was his top achievement, although he did also win Game 6 of teh 1975 World series for Boston.
