This 1882 cabinet card featuring the print photo and print autograph of Sitting Bull is #1 in a series of 24. The front of the 4x6.5" card shows the legendary Sioux Chief sitting down, along with a brief description of the man, referring to him as "The Sioux Chief at the Custer Massacre". The back confirms the card as No. 1, and contains a paragraph describing Sitting Bull's many exploits, explaining that despite his eagerness to boast about his clashes with the Crow tribe, the chief "is too shrewd to acknowledge killing any whites". It also contains a list of the 23 other cards in the series. Card is in NRMT condition.
