Collection of antique and funky postcards mostly date from the 1930s to the 1970s. Many are ones he collected but many are ones written to him by all kinds of interesting people, including prominent people in sports. We did not go through looking for content or from famous people but we did come across one handwritten from Angel Dundee for example, describing their meet in Las Vegas (signed “Angelo”). There is a lot of great subject matter here: lots of NYC promos, Disney, Batman, good advertising, restaurants, jazz, rock n roll, ocean liners, TV, Hollywood, JFK, cheesecake, Vegas and two great Rat Fink’s. Of courses there is a ton of good sports stuff like horseracing, stadiums, football, 60s Dodgers, boxing and good baseball. EX+.
