During the final match-up between the Penguins and the Rangers of the 1996-97 regular season, Mario Lemieux and Wayne Gretzky faced each other for what was to be the last one-ice meeting of these two sporting Greats. Soon after the match, held at MSG in NY, Mario would walk away from the game and make his comeback only after Wayne's Final Farewell. This Koho Revolution, used by Mario Lemieux that night, has been signed "to Mike" on the blade by Mario Lemieux, Wayne Gretzky and Mark Messier. The signatures are full and bold, obviously penned with great care. Correctly stamped and taped with the added game code "N.Y." in marker on the end of the knob. From the collection former New York Rangers equipment manager Mike Folga.
