This stunning official 12x9" stock certificate from 1911 is printed in a style similar to U.S. paper money and at one time was worth 75 shares of Preferred Capital Stock in the "Boston American League Base-Ball Club." The owner of this stock was Robert B. McRoy, then-Treasurer of the Boston Club. The document contains McRoy's handwritten ink signatures on both the recipient line and Treasurer line as well as the signature of club President Jim R. McAleer, and is dated the November 21, 1911. The document has three natural vertical folds, but is otherwise in EX-MT condition.
