This Louisville Slugger Hillerich and Bradsby model S2 bat was used by Gil Hodges in the 1955 All Star Game in Milwaukee -- his 7th out of 8 appearances in All Star games. Incidentally, 1955 was also the year Hodges' team, the Brooklyn Dodgers, won its first World Series in franchise history. The bat shows moderate use with some grain separation on the back of the barrel. The number "049" is on the handle in tape. The bat is uncracked, 34.5" long and 33.2 oz.
