The purchase of this blue cardboard ticket in 1883 to Washington Park allowed the purchaser see the Brooklyn Grays during their very first season. This 2.5x4" ticket is the only one that we know of. There is a .25x.5" chip at the top middle section. The only other flaws are some creases, minor chips in the blue and at the edges, and three spots of glue on the verso. The ticket says, "Washington Base-Ball Park., Fifty Cents, Admit One, 25, This (Blue) Ticket Good Only on Day of Sale. Brooklyn Club."
