This large wooden crate (14.5x19x11.75") was used by the Keebler-Weyl Baking Company of Philadelphia to display their goods. The red (faded) and black lithographed paper label inside the hinged lid shows a late 1800's batter and catcher. The label reads, "Base Ball Champions Keebler-Weyl Baking Co., Philadelphia". The label is still very nice, with some slight wear around the edges. The box has some writing on the outside of it, along the right side. Also included is a 5" tall, 6" diameter tin reading "Keebler, Oven-Fresh". Both are great examples of 19th century baseball advertising.
