This document was signed around 1943 by the chief of the Soviet security and secret police apparatus under Stalin, the Georgian who had a lust for power, Lavrenti Beria. The Russian document has been trimmed on the right and left hand edges, which does not affect the signature at all, but it cuts through some of the handwritten notes on the page. Beria's signature, in blue grease pencil, is graded an 8/10.
