A wonderful black leather speed bag showing good use while maintaining its beautiful condition. White paint on the side is likely from Rocky's gym. The humungous size of Rocky's fists managed to ware off the tag. The vintage string tag reads "Rocky Marciano Speed Bag." This extreme-ly important collection of 1950's box-ing material was originated with fight trainer extraordinaire Charley Goldman. Most famous for his relationship with Rocky Marciano, the man shared in the success of scores of fight-ers spanning decades. This piece came from Goldman, through a close friend, after his passing. It was sold at Lelands.com many years ago. The LOA from the friend has since been misplaced with a Leland's LOA presenting these statements.
