This rare program was sold on-site in Toledo, Ohio, at the Jack Dempsey vs. Jack Willard fight on the 4th of July in 1919. The fight ended with Dempsey becoming the world's champion heavyweight boxer, after initially leaving the ring after the first round because he thought the referee announced him the winner by knock out. He came back to continue fighting Willard for two more rounds, and won. This program was published by F.W. Briggs of New York. The contents are complete and VG. The front and back covers have had some professional restoration, but appear Good.
