Classic home run ball comes to you right from the stands of the original first year Colt 45s. The ball is nicely game used with wear that is consistent and vintage. The writing is 100% vintage. It is inscribed by the lucky but unknowing fan who caught it (he didn't even write on the ball it was Banks' #300), "Cubs-Colts First Win 1962 3-2 10th 4/18/62 Banks Homer." Has the "let's play two" double combination of being from the first game the Houston Colt 45s ever won as well as an incredibly important milestone home run ball. This sold in a Lelands.com auction in 2004. We remember it as being from the historic collection of pioneer collector Dick Dobbins.
