This rare framed 7x9" photo (EX) features the Comedian Harmonists, famous singers from Germany who performed together from 1928-1934. In the early 1930's, however, things changed. Three of the Harmonists were Jewish, and a fourth member had married a Jewish woman. The Nazis started slowly, by banning songs written by Jewish composers, to finally prohibiting them from performing at all - another sad example of extremism destroying humankind. L to R, are: Robert Biberti, Erich Collin, Erwin Bootz, Roman Cycowski, Harry Frommermann, and Ari Leschnikoff. Slightly faded signatures are a 6/10.
