The autograph in the middle of this signature card was written by Jefferson Davis in black ink. The signature grades a 7/10. The writing at the top of the card and on the back is in the hand of a previous owner. The card itself is VG, with some soiling and glue stains on the back. Davis was President of the Confederate States of America from 1861-1865, and was the 23rd U.S. Secretary of War, among many other titles.
