This marvelous scene shows the fighters Max Baer and Paulino Uzcudun in the ring between rounds, with the massive crowd under the Nevada sun, where it reached 110 degrees that day. This 20-round battle, promoted by Jack Dempsey, was supposed to be Baer's last defeat until his stunning loss to Jimmy Baddock about five years later. The black and white original vintage photo is signed in white ink on the negative with the fight information, and, "Cha's Z Bailey 'Photo.' Los Angeles, Cal." It measures 11x46" in a gold leaf frame. One joint crack is on the far left side, but otherwise is NRMT.
