This black Louisville Slugger model C271L bat was used by Yankees slugger Alex Rodriguez during the 2009 season, when he helped lead the New York Yankees to a World Series championship against the Philadelphia Phillies. The bat measures 34" in length and weighs 32 oz.; both of these numbers are stamped on the knob in silver along with the date the bat was made: 5/27/09. "315" is also scratched into the center of the knob. After missing the first month of the season due to a hip injury, A-Rod went on to have a stellar year and a huge postseason. The bat shows numerous cleat marks, ball marks and a batting donut mark with some light moto stick on the handle. This bat is a picture perfect A-Rod gamer.
