Two interesting items comprise this lot: a 1939 scorecard for a spring training game between the Boston Bees and the New York Yankees with Bees manager Casey Stengel's photograph on the front, and a program from a dinner honoring Duffy Lewis, part of the Red Sox "Million Dollar Outfield." The Stengel scorecard is unscored, measures 5 x 9", and folds out to measure 20 x 9". It has the Bees' exhibition schedule on the back, their roster listed inside, and numerous vintage ads for local Florida businesses. Shows some soiling and discoloration but is overall EX. The Duffy Lewis program, is signed on the front "To Eddie from 'Duffy' Lewis" under Lewis' photo. It measures 7 x 9" and contains two sheets inside with a cartoon, list of speakers, menu and a photo of Harry Hooper, Tris Speaker and Lewis, the "Million Dollar Outfield" Some staining and thumbtack holes, but overall EX.
