A 31-31 tie in their regular season clash produced a rematch of intrastate rivals in the 61st Sugar Bowl on January 2, 1995. The meeting between the fifth-ranked Florida Gators and the seventh-ranked Florida State Seminoles was appropriately dubbed "Overtime" or the "Fifth Quarter in the French Quarter". The Gators responded to the Seminoles' plays with quarterback Danny Wuerffel (now a Heisman Trophy winner) who, combined with Ike Hilliard, connected on an 82-yard scoring strike that established a Sugar Bowl record. This ring (size 11) is made from 39 grams of 10K gold (engraved on the inside), and also has "LGB" engraved on the inside, indicating that Balfour made this ring. It features a cubic zirconia stone in the center, with over 25 smaller stones surrounding it. Around the stones it says "Sugar Bowl Champions". One side of the ring says "Pearsall 81" while the other side says "1995, Overtime, FSU - 23, UF - 17".
